THE LIVING ROOM
Exquisitely unique, baroque hints, British influences, bold decor, elegant and luxurious. The living room on the second floor is no ordinary place - capturing the sounds of the city life in Valletta, from the 17th century church bells to the 18th century horse drawn Victoria Carriages which still run the streets.
The living room is a marriage of traditional Maltese style and contemporary design. The rose pink walls are set off by the deep red sheen of the floor. The room is finished to a high standard with valuable French gilded baroque sofa upholstered in damask fabric. Interesting objects d'art like the Maltese 'Festa' hand painted wall decoration and curated pictures, evoke the feeling of the nobility and splendour of this historic townhouse.
In spite of the room's baroque sentiments, the living room is equipped with a large LCD television, DVD and iPod with sound dock. The selection of DVDs provide an interesting insight into Academy Award winning movies shot in Malta.
