THE AREA

Valletta Nobile is situated in the old quarter of Valletta; an area that has kept its traditions. It is close to Merchant street, previously
known as Strada dei Mercanti. This dates back to the mercantile activity that abounded in the area. An open market still exists to this day and hawkers set up their wares every morning during week days.

Minutes away from the lower Barrakka Gardens and the magnificent views of the Grand Harbour, Valletta Nobile can easily be accessed by bus or by car. As you walk through the city's narrow streets, your senses come alive to the joys of fragrances of local Maltese bread, the sounds from a fountain or the chime of church bells.

Just up the road, you can do all your shopping from designer wear to more traditional Maltese lace, explore magnificent churches, watch a movie at the cinema or enjoy a local Baroque parade in front of the President's Palace.
